A specific and well-known take on the basic form is the Duchesse Brisee. Meaning "broken," brisee refers to how the chair is divided into the aforementioned chair design with the addition of a long footstool. At the same time, a brisee can also be two smaller chaise lounge chairs separated in the middle by a shared footrest.
You do not have to have a swimming pool in order to enjoy the style and comfort of a classic teak chaise lounge. However, with one of these great loungers, you will feel as though you are relaxing at one of the best summertime spots around. You have several different backrest positions that you can take advantage of with a chaise lounge including completely flat. As if that is not enough, there is even a comfortable knee bend section that will give you support, comfort and the right amount of elevation when you want to take a load off of your feet.
