The Disadvantages. There are some problems reported as complained by some customers upon buying the chaise lounge. These are the light scratches, cracks, uneven color, and sliding side tables. Some customers also complain about the different color from the one they saw online, but this is due to the reflection of the sunlight when the picture was shot.
The cushions of an outdoor chaise lounge must also be waterproof because a certain amount of moisture from rain, snow and dew is to be expected. The inside, a polyfill blend, is also more waterproof than indoor cushions. The indoor chaise lounge is recognized as the proper definition insofar as appearance. The basic design for a chaise is an upholstered couch-looking piece of furniture which is really like an extended chair with at least a headrest and the ability for one to recline and elevate one's feet. Various styles come with double headrests, attached armrests and some also come with matching, separate footrests.
This is true with lounge chairs for the outdoors as well. New designs and materials have made it easy to find the right lounge chair for the deck, pool area or patio. The biggest problem is really defining what a lounge chair is, since the description is used for anything from a lovely cushioned chair that looks a lot like it belongs indoors to massive chaise lounges that are ideal for relaxing and tanning poolside. Again, there's no right or wrong answer in finding the right lounge chair for the great outdoors. It's a matter of personal taste and style.
If you like to lounge alone, a classic single person teak chaise lounge is ideal, however if you don't want to fight for the right to recline, buy your loved one a lounger of his or her own. Sit side-by-side and read the paper, or consider a twin teak lounger for two. The intimacy of a twin lounger offers you double the comfort and makes for a wonderful spot to curl up together and check out the stars. Ease of movement is another consideration when purchasing a teak lounger. Want to chase the sun, or move into the shade? A teak lounger with wheels will give you the versatility and convenience of movement that will allow you to shift your lounger to the best position possible at any time.
