Keeping with Tradition. The most traditional hammocks are rope hammocks meant to be suspended between two posts or two trees. Today, they come in a wide range of colors, sizes, patterns and styles, so that you can easily choose the one that suits your tastes and needs the best.
Most pools are lined with many chaises and if you go on a cruise you will also see them lining the deck of the ship. The materials used to make them are mostly aluminum, plastic or wood and you can get them to match just about any budget. They can look like expensive furnishings that are very strong. They are also made out of light weight materials making them easy to pick up and take with you. A lounge allows you to recline up off the ground so the portable type is popular to take to the beach so you sit above the sand.
Some resin recliners also come with storage and wheels for easy transportability and storage. However, there are also more stylish and upholstered resin lounge chairs, such as the Charleston Resin Wicker Chaise Lounge or the Home Rolston Wicker Double Chaise Lounge. These recliners will beautify any outdoor patio or entertainment area.
In the light weight category are plastic lounges that can be used for patio use. They have frames that require the use of a cushion that is tied onto the frame. Plastic framed lounges are easy to lift and fold but might be a little bulkier than the aluminum variety. If you put them on your patio be sure to take care when a heavy wind blows up. The wind will take any plastic or aluminum chaise lounges and toss them off the patio easily.
